Siva Prasad Maruboyina, MD, earned his medical degree from PES Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Kuppam, India. After moving to the United States, he worked in Health Information Management (HIM) for Prime Healthcare in Sherman Oaks, CA. He then completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Saint Michaels Medical Center/New York Medical College, where he was appointed chief resident. His Gastroenterology Fellowship was completed at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center & Saint Michaels Medical Center/New York Medical College in Paterson, NJ and Newark, NJ, where he was named chief fellow.

Dr. Maruboyina actively participates in medical research, especially while working for a medical research firm in Chicago, IL. He has given numerous lectures and presentations relating to his field. Dr. Maruboyina is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.

He enjoys meditation, music, dance, tennis, chess, gardening, camping, and nature. Dr. Maruboyina’s wife is currently finishing her nephrology fellowship at West Virginia University. They have two daughters.
